" Back Magic " designed by Gary Fletcher for Ellowyne 16" Fashion Dolls.  Her sophisticated swirl casts a lovely spell wherever she appears.  This day time dress ensemble features demure bodice with gathered skirt, back collar treatment, back mock buttons with snap closure and belt.   The look is finished with gloves and fur wrap around her shoulders.  Pattern pieces for the dress, gloves, belt and wrap are included. 

I used a silk slate blue dupioni for the dress shell and light blue silk dupioni for the contrasting back collar.  The dress is unlined and goes together pretty quickly.  The raw edges of the seams were finished with an overlock stitch, but a machine zig zag stitch works well too. The armholes and neck-line are faced.  I suggest using a lightweight fusible interfacing for the facing pieces and for the belt.
